This Illinois fluorite has the classic combination of calcite crystal clusters growing on top with the fluorite revealing graduated layers of purple to yellow. Peaking out from the top point is a glassy transparent crystal with varying colors of blue and purple, a second side crystal reveals purple with yellow zones. A bonus feature is this specimen fluoresces orange, yellow & purple. Cave-In-Rock District, Hardin County, Southern Illinois. It measures: 11cm x 7.5cm x 7cm tall, 737 grams.
